I had so much fun making this and I used my trusty Cricut Explore using some free images of the Internet. </p><p>For the coat hanger I used Kraft card from <a href="https://annamariedesigns.co.uk/">Anna Marie designs</a> as this is amazing card and superb quality. The checked card was just in my stash and the striped paper was from Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Garden. I made this to fit inside an 8" x 8" envelope which again was perfect using my Cricut Explore.</p><p>Thanks for popping by xx</p><p> </p><p> </p>Pam Lenghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14786832114479920591noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-985445025168779212.post-39483553643370285282016-05-22T15:13:00.001+01:002016-05-22T15:15:16.004+01:00Tutorial for Stationery Suitcase<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-fLgTgILUlI4/V0GzP2IDXbI/AAAAAAAACjU/O1KLzbEXkuE/s947/Photo%25252020160522142416336.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-fLgTgILUlI4/V0GzP2IDXbI/AAAAAAAACjU/O1KLzbEXkuE/s394/Photo%25252020160522142416336.jpg" id="blogsy-1463926436272.8655" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="394" height="233"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-bQJOdkdWhUg/V0GzQkap4aI/AAAAAAAACjY/J1UC3nZLz3k/s706/Photo%25252020160522142416333.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-bQJOdkdWhUg/V0GzQkap4aI/AAAAAAAACjY/J1UC3nZLz3k/s394/Photo%25252020160522142416333.jpg" id="blogsy-1463926436322.416" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="394" height="395"></a></div><p> </p><p> I have been asked to do a tutorial for the Suitcase Stationery box that I made using the twin <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/shop-by-brand-c2159/crafters-companion-c25/crafters-companion-collections-c1726/destinations-c7107">CD Rom Destinations from Crafters Companion</a> a few months ago.To be honest I just made this up as I went along so although this will be similar to the first one I made unfortunately it won't be actually the same but I guess near enough. I have not made it up the same as the first one as this was made from Kraft card and layered using the papers from the CD Rom. Well I thought I would sort out my craft room and like everyone else found things that made me wonder - why did I buy this !!! Anyway whilst sorting out I came across just a few projects that I had started and never finished. My problem is I start something that I must make lol and then half way through think of something else that I must make, saying to myself I will finish the first project as soon as I finished the new one, well guess what that never happens.</p><p>So I am on a mission to try to finish off all - well most of my half made projects before I start to make something new, well that's the theory anyway. So my first finished project is one that I started to make a few weeks ago whilst on a Craft Retreat, it is an MDF wardrobe which I believe is from the MDF man. To decorate this I used co ordinations card some papers from my stash and images from Tattered Lace USB sticks Flowers and Foliage and Frippery and Flourishes and of course my beloved Scan n Cut.</p><p>Thanks for popping by xxx</p><p> </p>Pam Lenghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14786832114479920591noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-985445025168779212.post-4300982223870340842016-03-23T06:54:00.001+00:002016-03-23T06:58:55.884+00:00Bow Card using Brother Scan n Cut<br><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-YuxSpBH2J0Q/VvI5yzwe-eI/AAAAAAAACes/hyLS2cmIq_c/s1024/Photo%25252020160323063723324.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-YuxSpBH2J0Q/VvI5yzwe-eI/AAAAAAAACes/hyLS2cmIq_c/s414/Photo%25252020160323063723324.jpg" id="blogsy-1458715875438.2551" class="aligncenter" width="414" height="414" alt=""></a></div><p> Morning all today I am sharing with you this template I used from <a href="http://sandrasscrapshop.blogspot.co.uk/">Sandra's Scrapbook store</a> to make this lovely card. It is one of our friends 40th Wedding Anniversary this weekend and we have been friends for longer than that so I wanted to make something special. This was so easy to make using my Brother Scan n Cut I just scanned in the template and even added the faux stitching in Canvas. For the flourishes at the sides I used an image from the Tattered Lace Flowers and Foliage USB stick. The paper where just some pieces I has lying around in my craft room and the flowers were ones I already had.</p><p>Thank you so much for stopping by </p><p> </p>Pam Lenghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14786832114479920591noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-985445025168779212.post-7001275690049475622015-12-20T16:10:00.001+00:002015-12-20T16:10:27.025+00:00Cricut and Christmas<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ikAmKSqDXWk/VnbSLA2y5kI/AAAAAAAACeY/wl1bO_V_gIY/s1024/Photo%25252020151220160651747.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ikAmKSqDXWk/VnbSLA2y5kI/AAAAAAAACeY/wl1bO_V_gIY/s412/Photo%25252020151220160651747.jpg" id="blogsy-1450627644758.7185" class="aligncenter" width="412" height="412" alt=""></a></div><p>I thought I would share with you a simple card I made using my Cricut Explore, this is why I love this machine so much . <p> Hello SVG Attic fans this is Pam here from hookedonkrafts . I am so excited today as this is my very first post as a Guest Designer for SVG Attic. I was so thrilled to be asked and I knew straight away what my first project was going to be :) I always have a full wish list in the SVG Attic store so it was just a matter of click, purchase and away I went.</p>
<p>For this project I used the SDS Watering Wishes Kit and the flowers are just perfect to re size to go inside the watering can. I used some really bright papers that I had in my stash and even the small daisies on the handle were made with the same cutting file as the larger flowers.</p>
<p>At the moment my Mother in Law is not very well and in hospital so this was perfect to take her as a gift as real flowers are no longer allowed.</p>
<p>Thank you for popping in today and why not pop straight over to the SVG Attic store and have a look at all their gorgeous collections there are to choose from</p>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-taSCcu3tyUI/VRqnw5RmAxI/AAAAAAAACW4/eseTLlOof-8/s1024/Photo%25252020150331145703313.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-taSCcu3tyUI/VRqnw5RmAxI/AAAAAAAACW4/eseTLlOof-8/s356/Photo%25252020150331145703313.jpg" id="blogsy-1428048689113.7634" class="aligncenter" width="356" height="317" alt=""></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-NKAHVNM-m-U/VRqnylzgRrI/AAAAAAAACXA/082iTpuFpEE/s1024/Photo%25252020150331145703309.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-NKAHVNM-m-U/VRqnylzgRrI/AAAAAAAACXA/082iTpuFpEE/s344/Photo%25252020150331145703309.jpg" id="blogsy-1428048689177.4697" class="aligncenter" width="344" height="331" alt=""></a></div>
<p>I have recently made the above Exploding Box and had a few people ask me for a tutorial. I adapted an SVG file from <a href="http://svgcuts.com/">SVG Cuts</a> to make this and Leo and Mary are happy for me to share this with you.<span style="text-align: center; line-height: 1.3em;"> </span></p>
<p>To make this you will a good weight card I used 300 grm and a quick grab glue. So many of you have said that you love the papers well they are from a new CD Rom from <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/?AffiliateWindow&awc=5655_1427810520_9bc278bd88f3ccb6f892a1f349c40619&utm_source=AffiliateWindow">Crafters Companion called Times Gone B</a>y.</p>
<p>Firstly you will need the <a href="http://svgcuts.com/">SVG CUT</a>S file<a href="http://svgcuts.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&zenid=48ea07f0e6072c006fe7446ed9196992&keyword=Summer+street+carnival&x=0&y=0"> Summer Street Carniva</a>l. I used the Carnival Tent box for this project. First I cut out the bottom and bottom sides as shown below, cut this out twice once for the base and once for the lid.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-ae9zM_INdaE/VRqlYw-THvI/AAAAAAAACV0/9MEYyAbDbb4/s1024/Photo%25252020150331144701029.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-ae9zM_INdaE/VRqlYw-THvI/AAAAAAAACV0/9MEYyAbDbb4/s357/Photo%25252020150331144701029.jpg" id="blogsy-1428048689146.8774" class="aligncenter" width="357" height="266" alt=""></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-aV9e5dyzKAA/VRqlaFZfTfI/AAAAAAAACV8/kyYxPzZN5f0/s1024/Photo%25252020150331144701036.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-aV9e5dyzKAA/VRqlaFZfTfI/AAAAAAAACV8/kyYxPzZN5f0/s356/Photo%25252020150331144701036.jpg" id="blogsy-1428048689134.3848" class="aligncenter" width="356" height="203" alt=""></a> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div>
<p> To make the base of the exploding box you will need to cut it into panels as shown also cut off the side tabs but leave the tabs at the bottom as this is what you need to secure to the base. Do this with both pieces. This is what is should now look like.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Ehvm54Oxxbc/VRql09PH1bI/AAAAAAAACWE/OL0rRX-MHBo/s1024/Photo%25252020150331144835545.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Ehvm54Oxxbc/VRql09PH1bI/AAAAAAAACWE/OL0rRX-MHBo/s356/Photo%25252020150331144835545.jpg" id="blogsy-1428048689144.7324" class="aligncenter" width="356" height="282" alt=""></a></div>
<p>Place your glue onto the tabs for this I used <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/search/tacky-glue">Collal Tacky Glue</a> from Crafters Companion and stick the tabs to the bottom as shown below. At this stage if you want you can cut another bottom and stick it over the tabs on the inside this will not only make it look neater but also give it more strength.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3g9sxEe_EFg/VRql2K1QQVI/AAAAAAAACWM/7fMZ8tbJaG0/s1024/Photo%25252020150331144835550.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3g9sxEe_EFg/VRql2K1QQVI/AAAAAAAACWM/7fMZ8tbJaG0/s354/Photo%25252020150331144835550.jpg" id="blogsy-1428048689152.488" class="aligncenter" width="354" height="282" alt=""></a></div>
<p> </p>
<p> </p>
<p>You need to make the inner layer of the Exploding Box the same way but slightly smaller.</p>
<p>Now to make the lid. Use the second bottom and bottom side that you cut early. Trim the sides by taking off 1.75" as shown on both pieces. They should now look like this.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-PaMNXB4KxcQ/VRql3_aUwXI/AAAAAAAACWU/KQ8uv1hsSwI/s1024/Photo%25252020150331144835556.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-PaMNXB4KxcQ/VRql3_aUwXI/AAAAAAAACWU/KQ8uv1hsSwI/s362/Photo%25252020150331144835556.jpg" id="blogsy-1428048689154.865" class="aligncenter" width="362" height="439" alt=""></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-mx3hNdx1FvE/VRql5HRsfKI/AAAAAAAACWc/8KLHzZ-lK_U/s1024/Photo%25252020150331144835561.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-mx3hNdx1FvE/VRql5HRsfKI/AAAAAAAACWc/8KLHzZ-lK_U/s363/Photo%25252020150331144835561.jpg" id="blogsy-1428048689205.9143" class="aligncenter" width="363" height="399" alt=""></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div>
<p>Glue the two side tabs together and fold in the small tabs at the bottom</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-aA1wZCLHDNY/VRql6jUxmmI/AAAAAAAACWk/rx3lAE_FuAs/s1024/Photo%25252020150331144835568.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-aA1wZCLHDNY/VRql6jUxmmI/AAAAAAAACWk/rx3lAE_FuAs/s350/Photo%25252020150331144835568.jpg" id="blogsy-1428048689198.8196" class="aligncenter" width="350" height="334" alt=""></a></div>
<p> Attach the bottom to the tabs and as below add another one on the inside to strengthen.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Bzbg_WfOiBY/VRql70uVnyI/AAAAAAAACWs/Bx5gw7SgNGU/s1024/Photo%25252020150331144835575.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Bzbg_WfOiBY/VRql70uVnyI/AAAAAAAACWs/Bx5gw7SgNGU/s368/Photo%25252020150331144835575.jpg" id="blogsy-1428048689119.2917" class="aligncenter" width="368" height="376" alt=""></a></div>
<p> For the vase in the centre I also used an SVG file from <a href="http://svgcuts.com/">SVG CUTS</a> called <a href="http://svgcuts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=44&products_id=351">Mom' s Garden Gift</a> and reduced the size. For the flowers I just used several ones from my Cricut library.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Thanks for stopping by and hope that you will follow me 😃😃</p>

To make this I used my trusted <a href="http://uk.cricut.com/home/learn/machines/explore">Cricut Explore</a> and adapted an SVG Cutting file from <a href="http://svgcuts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=20&products_id=313">SVG Cuts Summer Street Carniva</a>l. <p> </p>
<p>Morning all hope you are all well. I have recently made this Exploding Box from a file I purchased from <a href="http://svgcuts.com/">SVG Cuts </a>called <a href="http://svgcuts.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&zenid=3bf406b7999396d7df6ca98cccec6c3e&keyword=Summer+street+carnival&x=23&y=12">Summer Street Carnival</a> and I have been asked for a tutorial on how I made this. I asked Leo and Mary from <a href="http://svgcuts.com/">SVG CUTS</a> if it was ok to do this as the original file is theirs and they have very kindly agreed that I can.</p>
<p>To make this you will need a good weight of card I used 300 grm and a quick grab glue, I used <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/search/tacky-glue">Collal Tacky glu</a>e from <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/">Crafters Companion</a>. So many of you have said that you love the papers, well they are from a new CD Rom from Crafters Companion called <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/?AffiliateWindow&awc=5655_1427803811_c5778b46008a213548a04e02466fa064&utm_source=AffiliateWindow">Times Gone By</a>.</p>
<p>Firstly you will need the SVG CUTS file<a href="http://svgcuts.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&zenid=3bf406b7999396d7df6ca98cccec6c3e&keyword=Summer+street+carnival&x=23&y=12"> Summer Street Carnival</a>. I used the <a href="http://svgcuts.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&zenid=3bf406b7999396d7df6ca98cccec6c3e&keyword=Summer+street+carnival&x=23&y=12">Carnival Tent box</a> for this project. First I cut out I cut out the bottom and bottom sides as shown below, cut this out twice once for the base and once for the lid. Please note that I have just used plain white card but you can use anything.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-LycbXaQHpKs/VRpG8lgR0hI/AAAAAAAACUY/9ByOx7Tx4KI/s1024/Photo%25252020150331080336862.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-LycbXaQHpKs/VRpG8lgR0hI/AAAAAAAACUY/9ByOx7Tx4KI/s383/Photo%25252020150331080336862.jpg" id="blogsy-1427803881239.2434" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="383" height="286"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-iMVJGk8l-B4/VRpG93LC6xI/AAAAAAAACUg/RbqxrrsNM9U/s1024/Photo%25252020150331080336869.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-iMVJGk8l-B4/VRpG93LC6xI/AAAAAAAACUg/RbqxrrsNM9U/s374/Photo%25252020150331080336869.jpg" id="blogsy-1427803881203.8276" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="374" height="213"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div>
<p> To make the base of the exploding box you will need to cut it into panels as shown:</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-LycbXaQHpKs/VRpG8lgR0hI/AAAAAAAACUY/9ByOx7Tx4KI/s1024/Photo%25252020150331080336862.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-LycbXaQHpKs/VRpG8lgR0hI/AAAAAAAACUY/9ByOx7Tx4KI/s377/Photo%25252020150331080336862.jpg" id="blogsy-1427803881280.0195" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="377" height="281"></a>
</div>
<p>Also cut of the side tabs but leave the tabs at the bottom as this is what you need to secure to the base. Do this with both pieces. This is what is should now look like.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-76DiqkEixtY/VRpIA1GNupI/AAAAAAAACUw/03-O6_xwwgE/s1024/Photo%25252020150331080812477.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-76DiqkEixtY/VRpIA1GNupI/AAAAAAAACUw/03-O6_xwwgE/s392/Photo%25252020150331080812477.jpg" id="blogsy-1427803881289.8025" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="392" height="311"></a>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="text-align: left; clear: both;">Now using a quick drying glue on the small tabs attach this to the bottom previously cut out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-syqC7slIqd4/VRpJBIkcnWI/AAAAAAAACU8/PM-XwR2OlP4/s1024/Photo%25252020150331081254044.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-syqC7slIqd4/VRpJBIkcnWI/AAAAAAAACU8/PM-XwR2OlP4/s398/Photo%25252020150331081254044.jpg" id="blogsy-1427803881243.736" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="398" height="317"></a></div>
<p> As this stage if you want you can cut another bottom and stick it over the tabs on the inside this will not only make it look neater but also give it more strength.</p>
<p>You need to make the inner layer Of the exploding box the same way but slightly smaller.</p>
<p>Now to make the lid. Use the second bottom and bottom sides that you cut early. Trim the sides by taking off 1.75" as shown on both pieces. They should now look like this.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Pa-W8Y1h6dw/VRpJl--W23I/AAAAAAAACVE/dWoAZUbYIR4/s1024/Photo%25252020150331081516610.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Pa-W8Y1h6dw/VRpJl--W23I/AAAAAAAACVE/dWoAZUbYIR4/s391/Photo%25252020150331081516610.jpg" id="blogsy-1427803881248.326" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="391" height="475"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-GPvXm3eDFpw/VRpJnog37HI/AAAAAAAACVM/L83RU3PT29E/s1024/Photo%25252020150331081516614.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-GPvXm3eDFpw/VRpJnog37HI/AAAAAAAACVM/L83RU3PT29E/s398/Photo%25252020150331081516614.jpg" id="blogsy-1427803881264.512" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="398" height="438"></a>
</div>
<p>Glue the two side tabs together and fold in the small tabs at the bottom. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-U9tRrIGUkLw/VRqCp3R2X0I/AAAAAAAACVc/u4tazXNSNcs/s1024/Photo%25252020150331121846751.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-U9tRrIGUkLw/VRqCp3R2X0I/AAAAAAAACVc/u4tazXNSNcs/s389/Photo%25252020150331121846751.jpg" id="blogsy-1427803881213.3984" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="389" height="371"></a></div>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div>
<p>Attach the bottom to the tabs and as below add another one on the inside to strengthen.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-m0Jihf5QOuA/VRqCzjJH0fI/AAAAAAAACVk/Ho3lamM9yG0/s1024/Photo%25252020150331121929588.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-m0Jihf5QOuA/VRqCzjJH0fI/AAAAAAAACVk/Ho3lamM9yG0/s376/Photo%25252020150331121929588.jpg" id="blogsy-1427803881210.1418" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="376" height="384"></a></div>
